Buque perteneciente a la Armada Francesa, es una copia a escala del buque de guerra frances, Chebec, que fue uno de los varios de la clase xebec que descollaron por el gran numero de atrevidas hazañas que llevaron a cabo entre los años 1960 y 1700. Estas pintorescas y bellas naves se asemejaban a las galeras por sus altas toldillas; pero eran de maniobra mucho más facil, característica muy apreciada en los encuentros navales de aquella época. Después de prestar brillantes servicios em la Marina Real, fueron utilizadas durante otro medio siglo como embarcaciones pesqueras. Este buque está artillado con 24 cañones de a seis libras y 34 de a dos libras. Esta maqueta ha sido realizada por el maquetista Don Rnrique Acosta Galván entre los años 2007-2009
Ship belonging to the French Navy, it is a scale copy of the French warship, Chebec, which was one of several of the xebec class that stood out for the large number of daring feats they carried out between the years 1960 and 1700. These picturesque and beautiful ships resembled galleys by their high poop decks; but they were much easier to maneuver, a characteristic highly appreciated in naval encounters of that time. After rendering brilliant services in the Royal Navy, they were used for another half century as fishing boats. This ship is armed with 24 six-pound guns and 34 two-pound guns. This model has been made by the model maker Don Rnrique Acosta Galván between the years 2007-2009
Das Schiff der französischen Marine ist eine maßstabsgetreue Kopie des französischen Kriegsschiffes Chebec, eines von mehreren der Xebec-Klasse, die sich durch die große Anzahl gewagter Leistungen auszeichneten, die sie zwischen 1960 und 1700 vollbrachten.
